In the UK we are fortunate to have a huge choice of colleges and universities. All offering a range of courses to suit your interests, in a variety of locations throughout the UK.Whilst universities like Bristol, Exeter and Warwick have large campuses boasting cafes, restaurants and clubs’ other universities such as Oxford and Cambridge provide a collegiate approach and sprawl over the city.

Some students thrive on campus life as it offers a community, a chance to dive into societies and easy distance between halls and student unions. Alternatively, other students prefer a non-campus university where they can be part of the city and feel less trapped in university life.

Banana Frogs has links to all the universities and colleges from Shetland to Lands’ End, so is a unique position to provide the information to help you get into the university or college of your choice.

Holocaust was one of the darkest pages of our history and something humanity shall always be ashamed of. The Nazi persecution of the Jews began with hateful words, escalated to discrimination and dehumanization, and culminated in genocide. Nowadays racism and ignorance are still walking among us, and the most powerful weapon we have to fight them is culture. On this particular recurrence, I would like to linger over the importance of studying history. History is definitely one of the most important subjects one can ever study. Studying history help us to develop an understanding of the World, to become a more rounded person, to understand identity, but most important of all, to learn from mistakes. As we've seen with the Nazi persecution the past is filled with warning signs. We must be able to reflect on the events that built up to them, learn from mistakes made and resist and question if we see similar patterns emerging. If your child studies history, they will be able to identify when society is going down perilous routes and contribute towards getting it back on track, cause even though we think of Holocaust like some tragedy that belongs to the past, the world is full of people that are suffering, dehumanized and discriminated. We fight for a world where every human is treated equally and with dignity, a world where curiosity is bigger than fear and where history would not be repeated. #holocaust #memorialday #war

Mental Health Awareness Training up 4000%

have heard this so many times. Who hasn’t? My research revealed.... Time Is Money is an aphorism that originated in "Advice to a Young Tradesman", an essay by Benjamin Franklin that appeared in George Fisher's 1748 book, The American Instructor in which Franklin wrote, "Remember that time is money." 🤓 So many spend time in a job they hate because they feel they have no choice. They need the income and taking the leap to go solo and start a business is not realistic. I am grateful that I had enough support to start a business on my own. I am lucky and I do not want to waste my opportunities. Running my own business both allows me to control my own time, despite being so much harder but would I change it? No way! Personally, I think time is indeed precious and priceless. We need time to earn money, but money cannot buy the time which is lost. It means that we must respect time more than anything else. Time with our families and loved ones, time making memories and time doing things that make us happy. However, right now TIME IS MONEY! Only TWO days left to join Banana Frogs for FREE!
